Having worked years in environmental pediatric research and after obtaining an MPH, I realized I needed to diversify my technical skills to advance my career. After hearing from a co-worker about the SheCodes workshop and despite no prior experience, I embarked upon my initial coding journey, completing all four workshops. To further increase my knowledge, I enrolled in a program for data analysis and visualization. The goal is to apply these skills to create digital solutions to improve public health literacy.
